Processing & Delivery
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Once dispatched, delivery generally takes 3–5 business days, depending on your location.
Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure your shipping details are correct when placing your order. Additional shipping charges may apply if an order needs to be resent due to incorrect address information.
Damaged or Lost Parcels
If your order arrives damaged or has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with the courier to resolve the issue.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

At Emery Lane, we believe a candle should do more than simply smell beautiful—it should be crafted with care, quality ingredients, and attention to detail.
Every candle is hand-poured in small batches in New Zealand, allowing us to inspect and quality-check each one before it leaves our studio.
We use a premium coconut soy wax blend that provides a clean, even burn and excellent fragrance performance. Our fragrances are carefully selected from suppliers committed to ingredient transparency and are formulated without phthalates and parabens. Many of the fragrance oils we use also meet enhanced ingredient-screening standards designed to avoid ingredients associated with higher safety concerns.

To get the best performance from your Emery Lane candle, please follow these simple care and safety guidelines:
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children, pets, curtains, and flammable materials.
- Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
- Trim the wick to 5mm before each burn.
- Allow the wax to melt to the edge of the vessel during the first burn to help prevent tunnelling.
- Burn for no more than 4 hours at a time.
- Discontinue use when approximately 10mm of wax remains.
- Keep the wax free from wick trimmings, matches, and other debris.
- Avoid burning in drafty areas or near open windows, fans, or air conditioning vents.
- Never move a candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot.
